Trips out west

Each summer since 2004, we have taken a camping trip in the western United States. It started as a weeklong getaway from the mundane, everyday action of the city. Then it turned into a tradition of magnet collecting, camping, incredible scenery, and salad bars in small towns.

Beginning that first year, we diligently documented each day of our trip: what we saw, did, drank, ate, and anything else that struck us as noteworthy (yes, even mileage on the car and how much gas we put in the car). Six years later, it finally hit the interwebs in the form of this blog.
